In a State of [Movement against Resistance] is a short artists film commissioned for the Random Acts programme, available to watch on the Channel 4 website. The work explores the fear, tension and anxiety associated with hospital environments. Unfolding in a surreal institutional setting, the film follows a patient trapped in a state of limbo as he fades in and out of consciousness, encountering evasive figures and uneasy situations.
