Throughout June I have been supporting the production of Uta Kogelsberger's new work: Orchestra of Rock, Not a Rock Concert. We have been constructing simulated rock-speakers that were exhibited at St. Olave's Church as part of the Whitechapel Art Night on 1 July. Over the night, live improvisations played through the 8-channel installation by sound artists and DJ's Atau Tanaka, Shelly Parker, Dane Law, Nathalia, Tom Richards and xname, mixing the sound of raindrops from the Lake District into rhythmic soundscapes.
